RAISING MONEY FOR
SCHOOL IN A BAG- GIVING HOPE TO A CHILD'S FUTURE
School In A Bag is an initiative run by the UK registered charity The Piers Simon Appeal. School in a Bag is a simple solution created to help poor, orphan, vulnerable and disaster affected children throughout the world. A typical SchoolBag contains: 10 pencils, 10 biro pens, 12 colouring pencils, a maths set, a ruler, a pencil case, 3 exercise books (line/square/plain) a water bottle and a lunch box containing a spork. These resources enable a child to write, draw, colour, calculate, express themselves and, above all, learn. Each SchoolBag delivered to a child will give hope to his or her future and has the potential to transform their life. The charity currently supports over 83,000 children in 39 Countries across the globe!
WHY SCHOOL IN A BAG?
I met Luke, the founder of SIAB last year whilst completing the THREE PEAK CHALLENGE three legged. He shared the story, passions and aims of the charity and his words have stuck with me ever since. Education is something very important to me, it is something I believe ever child is entitled to as a human right. School In A Bag is based in the UK but aids thousands of children worldwide, the work the charity do makes a huge difference to so many lives and I really want to help in any way I can. So please be generous, be kind and be bold. DONATE HERE! You can also read more about School In A Bag HERE.
